Heraldic Coronets of Rank
Regulation 04-2024 establishes standardized guidelines for the design and use of heraldic coronets of rank within the nobility of the Royal House of Georgia. It provides clear and consistent instructions for nobles and heraldic artists to accurately represent coronets for each rank.
Heraldic privileges of the Knights and Dames of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia (OEG). Confrères of the Order of may display their insignia on their armorial achievements without prior approval.
OEG Capitular Mantle for Confrères
All confrères of the OEG may display the Order’s mantle behind their armorial achievement, along with the insignia denoting their rank within the Order. A golden frieze, either a plain border or one featuring a Georgian motif, can be added as a decorative element to the mantle's edges. The official embroidered design on the mantle's collar is reserved for titled nobles only. The mantle may be depicted heraldically in any artistic style, as long as it follows the written description. If the confrère holds a coronet of rank, the mantle can be ensigned by it.
